Arnold H. Abrons - Attorney

Mr. Abrons’sareas of practice are civil litigation, family law, adoptions, wills and estates, and real estate transactions.  He is a participating attorney in the following legal plans:  AARP, Hyatt Legal, Signature Legal Care and the Virginia Education Association (VEA). 

Mr. Abrons is a member of the Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association and the Virginia State Bar and participates in Virginia Continuing Legal Education (CLE) training programs.

He received a Bachelor of Law/Juris Doctor in 1969 from the University of Virginia and was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1969, as well as to the Supreme Court of Appeals.  In 1972 he was admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and in 1977 was admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Mr. Abrons resides in Virginia Beach and has two sons, both of whom reside and work in Chicago, IL.

Michael F. Fasanaro, Jr. - Attorney

Mr. Fasanaro’s areas of practice are criminal, family and military law.  He participates in various committees with Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association, and is an active member of the Virginia Beach Bar Association and continues with legal training through the Virginia CLE.  In 2008 the Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association honored Mr. Fasanaro by presenting him with its Professionalism Award.  He has served as a Commissioner in Chancery and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York he attended St. John’s University where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1956; in 1958 he received a Juris Doctor from St. John’s School of Law and was admitted to the New York State Bar that same year.  Mr. Fasanaro was commissioned LTJG in the United States Navy as a law specialist in 1959.  He retired as a Navy Captain in 1980, after having served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years.

He lives in Virginia Beach with his wife of 21 years; he has a son who is a pilot and step-daughter who works for the firm.

Timothy P. Sceviour - Attorney

Mr. Sceviour’s areas of practice are family law, civil litigation, church representation, contract formation, small business formation/representation, and military law.  He is an active member of the Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association.  He has served on the board of directors of various non-profit organizations, was an adjunct professor of law at an American Bar Association approved law school, and has published articles in various legal journals and publications.  He is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.

He was born and raised on Long Island, New York.  In 1980 Mr. Sceviour received a Bachelor of Criminal Justice, with a minor in Economics from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.  He graduated from Mercer University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 1984; later that year he was admitted to the Georgia State Bar.  In 1987, he was admitted to the Virginia State Bar.  After completing active duty in the Judge Advocate General’s Corp, United States Navy, he affiliated with the Navy Reserve and currently serves at the rank of Captain.

Mr. Sceviour resides in Virginia Beach with his wife and youngest child.  Both of his adult children have graduated from college and reside and work in Hampton Roads.

Denise R. Brower—Employed with the firm since 1992. Denise is the legal assistant to Timothy P. Sceviour and is the Real Estate assistant.  

Brenda A. Rowe—Employed with the firm since 1993. Brenda is the file clerk and courier.  
 
Erika L. Seichrist—Employed with the firm since 2008; she also interned here while in high school and college for a total of seven years.

Kelly A. St. Clair—Employed with the firm since 1993.  Kelly is the legal assistant to Arnold H. Abrons and Michael F. Fasanaro, Jr.
